My mate John has always been a great believer in family and as such John’s Furniture Warehouse is a real family affair. With fathers, sons, brothers, aunties and uncles on the staff JFW is not only a great place to work but because we have such fun it's also a great place to shop!


John literally scours the globe to find the best products for his customers and with a combined experience in the furniture industry of over 200 years we also have a great wealth of knowledge about the products we sell.


Back in 1990 John realised Dunedin was lacking a real furniture and bed discounter so he decided to open his own store. His aim was to provide the best possible product at the lowest possible price while still offering the highest standard of customer service. Over 20 years later the furniture industry has changed radically but those principles are still the core motivation behind everything we do.
